  Kerry Keats is the Bereavement Coordinator at Canuck Place Children’s Hospice. Kerry has 14 years experience in the field of pediatric hospice and palliative care. Ms. Keats was a member of the Pediatric Palliative Care Consultation Service with Stanford University Medical Center, and part of a pediatric palliative care program called Comfort for Kids, where she was the psychosocial and bereavement coordinator providing hospice and palliative Care in families’ homes in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team in the San Francisco Bay Area. In addition to direct work with children and families, Kerry Keats has facilitated many workshops, trainings and formal presentations in the psychosocial areas of pediatric palliative care as well as grief and loss.  Kerry participates in ongoing and current research in her field as well as being a Supervisory Clinician for Master’s students. Kerry Keats is a founding member of the Social Work Hospice and Palliative Care Network and is currently a member of the National Association of Social Work, British Columbia Social Work, and Association of Pediatric Oncology Social Work.
